DIY: Louis Vuitton Mon Monogram Personalisation Louis Vuitton has a personalisation service whereby you can get several stripes, as well as 3 initials painted on some of their bags and accessories in the Monogram and Damier Graphite canvas prints. I think the designs are screen printed over the canvas (because they are so flawless and are very uniform) using special pigment before being varnished, so I decided to try it myself!    Louis Vuitton's Passport cover with Mon Monogram Sadly I don't have the means to screen print myself, so I decided to paint them instead. Mitchum Advanced Control "Ice Fresh" Totally glam start I know but seriously though, this is the BEST Anti-Perspirant/Deodorant ever! sweat control all day, and pleasant scent, a total must have for summer (and all year round because EW) Honestly can't recommend Mitchum enough, seriously good stuff! 2. Chanel No5 L'Eau like I said in my Perfume blog post, this is such a lovely summer scent that does not overpower you  but still gives you a clean, fresh scent without smelling like your 100 year old ancestors! A weekend in Brighton A few weeks ago, armed with my trusty weekender, I went down to the south coast to look at the University of Brighton with my Mum. We stayed at the modern Malmaison Hotel in Brighton's Marina, and walked along the beach to get into the town, as it is somewhat far out. We arrived on Satuarday morning and in an attempt to not shop, we went to the Brighton Pavillion that was created as the fashionable seaside residence of King George IV, and was finshed in 1815. I loved the visit, and would recommend! Here is a basic history of The Pavilion. Louis Vuitton X Jeff Koons: My thoughts I was left speechless when I woke up last month to see the latest Collaboration to hit the fashion world, that of Louis Vuitton and Jeff Koons. My immediate reaction was that of utter horror, because I think it looks well...ugly and unnecessarily fussy, however my opinion was somewhat shifted when the products began circulating on social media, because i could see the craftsman ship, but I'm still not a fan. Essentially Koons has put old works of art on some iconic Vuitton bags in a way that "encourages new interpretations". Um right okay... I'm disappointed because, just before the release, Louis Vuitton created a lot of hype on their social media (naturally) and I was expecting something better, especially after the disappointing previous Supreme collaboration last year (see my other blogpost). A Magical Day in London Last Sunday, my Mum, Granny and I went to London for the day. We went primarily to see the David Hockney exhibition at the Tate Britain, it had its ups and downs, but was overall quite a interesting insight into an artist i knew little about. My favourite work he produced is entitled "a bigger splash" and is really stunning in real life!
