A Magical Day in London

A Magical Day in London Last Sunday, my Mum, Granny and I went to London for the day. We went primarily to see the David Hockney exhibition at the Tate Britain, it had its ups and downs, but was overall quite a interesting insight into an artist i knew little about. My favourite work he produced is entitled "a bigger splash" and is really stunning in real life! A Bigger Splash  After the exhibition I had a quick look at the Turner collection there, I had copied his self portrait a few weeks earlier and to see it in real life was quite stunning! His Self Portrait After the exhibition we went shopping! *eye roll* and I purchased 2 things, one pair of shoes from Russell and Bromley and a bag from Mulberry. I will do a separate blog post on the bag, just because I feel it is worthy of its own post, and because I will explain how I could buy it. anyway...some outfits! My Outfit (featuring the most odd facial expression) C...

Why I love Johnny Coca at Mulberry.

Why I love Johnny Coca at Mulberry. Johnny Coca For Christmas 2015 , I was lucky enough to be given a Mulberry Anthony bag as a present from my parents and it was from that moment on I have had a love and passion for Mulberry as a Brand. Being British myself, I appreciate British craftsmanship and the fact that it supports the British Fashion Industry and British economy. Well, Mulberry is one of the most popular and well known fashion brands in Britain, and so who is head of it has a big task to keep it at the forefront of many peoples minds (and wish ists) I asked many of my friends to name three Fashion Brands th...

The World's best selling fragrance.  Ever since Coco Chanel chose the formula for Chanel No 5 in 1921, fragrance for Men and Women has been placed in strict boxes. In these boxes, perfume has been separated into fragrance types for both Men and Women. For example, Men’s fragrance is typically spicy, warm and citrusy, whilst women’s fragrance typically is floral, sweet and fruity. It saddens me to think that we have to conform to scents only marketed towards out gender, because in todays society it is taboo to tell someone that what we are wearing is actually not marketed towards us but someone else. An iconic mens fragrance As you’ve probably guessed, I’m not a fan of fragrance marketed toward men (there are exceptions but take this as a rule of thumb) simply because I find they are ...
